Privacy Policy
GDPR laws require us to clearly inform you of how we intend to use, store and destroy your personal data.
At initial appointments, personal data is collected on client consultation forms, which include name, address, phone number, date of birth, and email address. Information such as clients’ phone numbers and/or email addresses will be used to contact clients regarding appointments and treatment. Such information may also be used for marketing purposes; for a monthly newsletter and special offers. Clients will be able to opt out of this at any time. All medical, health and lifestyle data are used to ensure safe and appropriate treatment. Client consultation forms are shredded and disposed of once client information is scanned and uploaded to their personal file on a password-protected/encrypted electronic device. Client records will be retained for a maximum of 7 years following the last treatment, after which all electronic records will be securely deleted.
Clients also have the following rights under the Data Protection Act (2018):
• the right of access to your personal data;
• the right to rectification of your personal data;
• the right to erasure of your personal data;
• the right to restrict the processing of your personal data;
• the right to object to the processing of your personal data;
• the right to data portability (to receive a copy of your personal data)
By no means will client data be shared with any third parties, unless specific consent has been granted in relation to aiding clients' treatment processes.
